Mario Inspired Party
My son's 10th birthday was based on his favorite Nintendo video game, Mario!
A very simple yet effective design for a cake!
Simple shaped cookie cutters were used to make these.
What child wouldn't want to sit here?!
I made these out of Styrofoam balls, card stock and mini clay pots. I also used pink felt for the tongue.

Made from Styrofoam balls and some felt, these mini bombs can be placed anyway around your table or room.
Cover your existing light fixture to resemble Piranha Plants by using cardstock.
Add a bit of whimsy to your streamers by taping or gluing on some small piranha plant clip art or other Mario designs.
A black and red marker can be used to create the ghost's face. Then, some cardstock glued on the sides for hands! I also added white sticker dots to plain red balloons to reflect the Piranha plants.
So simple! The eyes are made by using white stickers and the feet are made out of yellow cardstock. Tie them to the back of the chairs and each guest can take one home at the end of the party!
Made out of black foam board and colored paper.
I found these images on line, printed them out, glued them onto sticks and made some plant stakes!

To keep these on their faces, I used clear elastic string (glued on the underside with hot glue and a strip of felt to keep it in place) Please click below for a free template download. These are for home use only, please.
Gold coins can be given to the winners!
Similar at Hot Potato! Bomb is made out of a large Styrofoam ball, paint and felt. Remember to play a Mario videogame tune during the game
Add spots to oval styrofoam balls with a green marker. Use a bowl or box to toss the eggs in. I happened to have this bowl that resembles a pipe which is perfect. Whoever tosses the most eggs into the pipe wins!
